Really? Are you sure...When i had my BMW, i didn't have to take the bumper off...I thought this was just toyotas stupid design..btw...i think instead of replacing them, you should have just tinted them with niteshades, then it would look great....
I had thought about doing that, but to be honest. I hated looking at the design of them. It made me feel like I was about 16 years old. (No offense)... just it brought back memories of WANTING to be 'rice'.

I've grown past that, wanted a clean car, and I think these tail lights are a much more mature addition to my car.

I woulda done something like this, maybe a bit lighter to match better with your color. (i do realize the right one is left untouched, but that's called lazyness)

Thanks for the pic JE3146. And thanks for the shop KeRoLiUkAs. I think I will stick with the 08's and get them smoked.

Yup, though not as dark.

Just a light tint to cut the bright red.

YAY! look way better. I'd smash the hell out of those tails, but hey, why not make money right?

Agreed. Toyota or otherwise I've never had to take off the bumper to get the tail lights off of any car sept the tC.

Depends on the car. I had to remove my bumper on my 2003 Civic SI to install the CTR tails.

I guess this thread is the best one to ask it it, but are the 08 heads and tails easily swappable with the 07s? [same dimensions?]

Apparently the 08 tails will fit on the 07's if the 07's fit on the 08's?
