Default anyone have this HID problem?

i have an 05 tc, which comes with reflectors for headlights. I first got HIDs which worked very nicely. Then i got into an accident, which crushed my left headlight, so the bodyshop i went to replaced new HIDS for me, but these ones shine EVERYWHERE for some reason, especially upwards. I lowered the angle of the lights to the point where my high beams are pointed almost straight to the floor. I haven't got pulled over by the police for my lights yet, but is there a way i can fix that before i get a ticket? are projector headlights the only way? help would be appreciated.

I would check what bulbs they put back in there. Might be a D2S and you need a D2R for non-projector headlights.

It must be a bulb misalignment of some sort. Prior to the accident, do you know what hid bulb you used? If I were you, this is what I would do. Since driver-side and passenger-side bulbs are interchangeable, I suggest you take out your passenger-side bulb and compare it with your driver-side bulb. See if they are the same size bulbs. Swap them and light them up, and go from there.

9006 yes, but needs the D2R type bulb which is made for a reflector type housing versus a D2S which is for a projector. I have rebased 9006 D2R bulbs in mine, the others would cause the beam to be everywhere.
