Are you waiting for someone else to do it for you?

Yes I know its not a tC but I love it.

LoL, NO....but that xB does look bomb! I'd take the one out of the window though.

Naw, I'm just looking around for an M3 style roof spoiler...that's what I'm going to mount the LED's too. The spoiler will be black so it blends in with the roof.

Nope...still trying to find the right M3 roof spoiler. There are soo many and I'm looking for the cleanest one for the tC's flow and design.

I'm redoing ones that have already been done earlier in the year. Right now they have leds in the brows as DRL, and s2000 projectors. I'm going to take out the leds and replace them with halos around the highbeam and add a shroud and paint everything BSP.

Thank you. I love it too. As far as the light in the window, what would I use to cover it? I have the LEDs wired into that light. I have aftermarket cruise control and LED tails so if I take that bulb out I get warning lights on the dash and the CC won't work. I dont want to put a load resistor in because I don't like the idea of that heating stuff up.

And you should! The window light, ok find your nearest vynil distributor and get some of that double sided vynil that no light can get through. Just to make it look clean, I'd get it in black. If you need the exact kind of vynil, hit up bluebatmobile.net, he uses the same kind for the headlight eyebrow overlays.

Load Resistors = epic fail

Not yet, unfortunately my desktop computer got a BSOD (nvlddmkm.sys) and I'm trying to get that fixed, but it looks like I'll have to buy a new computer.

So, I'll have to do this as soon as I get a spare moment. Just need the M3 and the LED's from Oznium and I'm set pretty much.

^ Yes, that is exactly the look I'm looking for except the full length of the rear window. That's how it should look at night. I'm trying to find the right roof spoiler that will go cleanly with the LED's too so they're not so visible.

they're barely visible in daylight without any tacky spoiler to break the curvature of the roof. i wanted them the same width as the 3rd brake light to keep the symmetry when driving behind the car. the pics dont do justice to the brightness at night. i love driving behind the wife with the headlights off at nght just to see her hit the brakes and light up the whole back end.

^ Can you show me a close up picture of how it's mounted? Until I run across a roof spoiler that flows with the lines of the tC (made for the tC), I'm thinking of running it like you have but just the full extension of the rear hatch window aka roofline.

Did you get your LED's from Oznium? The waterproof ones? How did you go about wiring it to the brake lights?

Bump

So, computer issue is finally taken care of and I have myself an M3 spoiler. Unfortunitely it is just a tad too long so I'll have to do some R&D on it. Also, I got the LED's from Oznium as well.

Question: disconnecting the TBL (OEM one), that won't make my Cruise Control not work anymore will it?

Oh, pay no attention to the cash on the desk, it's for gas after I took the pix.

Ok guys, I need your opinions on this:

Should I convert the OEM TBL to an additional reverse light (swap the led's and tap into the reverse lights), or should I make a badgeless garnish that covers the TBL area completely?
