okay so i'm in the market of buying some carbon fiber. first i'm going to get the oem style hood from racingsolution.com never bought anything from them so asking are they a worthy website? second is there anything you can buy to protect the carbon fiber such as a wax or spray to help from fading or just giving it a protective coat?also thinking about getting a carbon fiber spoiler, was wondering though if they warp under heat, i live in southern cali so it gets hot down here and don't have the spoiler warping too badly. thanks

imho stay away from spoilers unless it's a lip spoiler.

 

could i just get a clear coat put on from any body shop? and i'm sticking to the oem spoiler just in carbon fiber

 

yes, any shop will be able to clear it for you. and IMO cf hatch instead of spoiler.

Racing Solution is AWESOME! I have dealt with them on two occasions and had the best experience EVER.

I would clear your hood at a regular shop once you get it.

wait, not trying to thread jack, but i just bought a Seibon c/f hood and i still should get it clear coated for protection? i thought it came coated already,

 

Yea I just ordered a seibon carbon fiber hood and it comes clear coated

 

they all come clear coated, is just adds piece of mind to clear it again plus it helps protect the hood.....

Nope -- most are only gel coted -- get it cleared if u dont want it to fade

cf hatch and cf spoiler > cf hatch alone.
