The keyhole plug is ugly in my opinion. There was a thread a few weeks ago about a keyhole cover. It wasn't just the plug, it was a piece that went over the existing keyhole that was smooth and looked really nice.

The bumper plugs do look better than having a plate stuck up there. The tC just wasn't designed to have a front plate. Where are you going to put your front plate now that you have plugged the holes?

That would be my question. I mean, I don't like holes drilled in my bumper either. But NY requires a front plate and I'm not going to be trashy and put it on my dash or something (I hate that).

"o my brackets on back order or i bought the car this way or it just fell off"

i always keep my plate under my driver seat so i look legit but take my word for it thats ohio cops other states other ruels

Move to New Mexico...then you have no worries about front license plates. I love not having to deal with it.

here in WI you need a front plate by law. I have never had a front plate on for the year i have owned my TC and about 3 years of owning my Talon. I have been pulled over multiple times for other things and they have never mentioned the front plate. All depends on the officer. Looks so much nicer with no plate but the law is the law.

yeah i've been driving without one for about a year with no problems, but it is illegal here. oh well, i'm willing to pay a possible ticket to not have that ugly thing.

I was told that there is an $80 fine in California for missing front plate. I lowered and centered using machine screws and wing nuts by reaching behind grill from the top with the hood open. Dealer never drilled holes.
