I was driving around and finally got pulled over today. After 4 months of driving with my white LEDS for my license plate lights... Cop said it was blue.. they are white... but I didn't argue.. he let me go.

 

smart choice not to argue. They would have ended up finding something that was "illegal". Good on ya for keeping your head straight and diffusing the situation.

 

Yea I was like its not even worth it.. im sure we both know hes wrong.. its not blue.. got from superbrightleds... so yea by not arguing i saved myself time and stress..... shows how bored cops are.. if 3 cars came over..

 

Hey Layton! Do you have your PG LSD installed yet, we just did ours (had if for many months but no time to do the work)?

We may be relocating to UT this summer so we would deffinately have to hook up if we do.

Before we do, I may have a few questions on the local smog enforcement policies and penalties, lol!

Even though we run a clean car, mods can be such an evil thing, dang tree huggers anyway!

I find it funny that they felt the need to have 3 cars for license plate lights. The other day I had 2 cars show up for no front license plate

 

yea they bring 3 cars either because they are bored.. or to show off to their partners to show em that they caught someone that has something illegal.

I used to have white LEDS for my parking lights.. LEDS starting blowing out after about a month of use.. on everyday.. (during daytime)

 

^^ same here! I only now have LED's inside!

 

Where'd you get the LEDs from? A few places specify to not used LEDs in the same housing as the headlights b/c of the heat - it will likely drastically reduce the life of some LEDs.
