One thing I have noticed with my '08 projectors, it seems that my cutoff
_____________/¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ seems to be shifted towards the passenger side and my hotspot on both is about
_______X_____/¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ yet still facing forward. If I switch back to stock H11 bulbs the hotspot is
_____________X¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ and still facing forward. Been wondering if this is due to the HID bulb is slightly longer than the H11 bulb.

just an hid kit which includes 2 bulbs, 2 ballast, and wire harness <- very important.
you need the harness for the hids to run off your battery instead of your factory wire harness since they might cook them because of the current draw.

New federal bill says it is illegal to install HIDs on ANY car not equipped from the manfucaturer with them in any state. That is why Oznium stopped selling them.
If you get cheap HID bulbs and ballasts and put them in stock housings, I hope you get ticketed, because you will be glaring and blinding everyone. Even OEM HIDs are a bit glarely to other drivers. IF you do it, do it right, retrofit them with a set of projectors.
As far as them being "better" than regular bulbs, that is highly debatable. Unless you go the cheapo, blind everyone else on the road route, they are more than 100 bucks
Considering I go through two sets of bulbs in a cars life, you wont ever save back your money on life alone. I can see perfectly well with my Silverstars, I dont blind people, etc. So it is 90% bling as far as HIDs being better for the most part. If you reallly like that sort of thing, go for it. But like I said, do it right.

And for those that dont mind spending $600 or more (for those cars with the optional ones) for the way they look, that is great. Nothing wrong with it, my point was just that the statement that HID>regular bulbs is highly subjective for the most part, and that going cheap on them is just making life worse for other drivers, which is the reason for the ban on the non-oem ones.

The right side of the output pattern being higher is not a bad thing. Low beams should be focused lower, with more light on the right side of the road away from traffic to illuminate the shoulder.
