Default HID Help

So over the past couple weeks my drivers side HID bulb has been flickering whenever I would turn on my car and when ever I would go over big bumps.

So today before I went to go to ship some items, I went to turn my lights on, and as usual the drivers side began to flicker, so I turned off the lights and then attempted to turn them back on..although the drivers side would not turn back on this time.

So I went to check it out and I found that the two plugs that connect the HIDs to the harness were both corroded and one of the prongs from inside the HID connect had fallen off and was now stuck inside the spot it slides into in the harness connector.

I tried to pull the prong out although it is really stuck in there.

So the only other thing I could think of doing was to start splicing wires together.
I continued to splice and finished up with what I thought was the correct solution.

Now it won't turn on at all.

I then checked the fuses for the headlight low beams and they were both good.

I need some assistance here.

Damn. Lol.
So your saying...even with how I spliced the wires together like how I stated, it should still work if I replace the ballast?

Did you hook the wires up the right way? If they are back wards they will not turn on. just asking, I have seen them not work if not hooked up right. the other thing is get a relay harness that hooks to the battery and then just use some butt connectors instead of the plugs. the only plug you would use is the driver side head light to turn on the system..

Yes I did splice the wires correctly..I even reversed them to see if it would work and it didn't.

I'm buying new male and female plugs for the drivers side..and then buying a new ballast today hopefully and we'll hope that's the issue.

The bulb should be fine..I looked at that too, and it didn't look burnt out or blown inside.
