Default hid problems

I recently purchased an ebay hid kit (not sure if thats the problem) lol, its a 6000k kit and came with the ballasts and connections for the bulbs, no relays or anything like that though, however the instructions showed a relay being part of the system. Everything worked fine for a day, the lights kind of flickered when u turned them on until they warmed up but now they flicker and go out while driving down the road. Any ideas?

the hell are you buying relays for $20? should be like $4.50 TOPS at any auto parts store. but yes, most likely the lack of relay is the issue.

I had the same problems with my HID kit before I got my relay. The ballasts were not getting enough power from the headlight sockets alone.
