Ok so I need help, One of my hids is not turning on and I cant tell if its the ballast, s short in the wire, or just the bulb itself......I tried messing with it then turning it on and my bulb just flickered and went off, so Iam thinkin its the ballast let me know what you think. Thanks

 

did you try to swap it out with the other side??

 

Not yet but I was thinkin about doing that, I dont think it s the bulb or the light woudnt even flicker when its turned on but who knows

 

did you touch the bulb at all when installing it ??

 

If yo touched the bulb at all... thats your problem and the bulb probably blew once it heated up from oils on yours fingers. Hopefully you didnt though. Otherwise try switching the ballasts I guess

 

Didnt touch the bulb at all, it still lights up it just flickers on for a min then shuts off, Iam pretty sure its the ballast

did you try swapping bulbs to the other side. It could be the bulb itself that's dying. My bulb did the same and died.

 

mine was the passenger bulb. i switched it to the driver side and it still didnt work. thats why im sending the bulb back to JLevi for a warranty replacement
