CarbonXe, thanks for the pics! Do you know if I would get the same color in 5000K without projectors?

Couldn't tell you. I know the cutoff in the projectors really enhances the color, don't remember the technicality of it, but it's like the coating on the actual metal. I'd say the closest one would be the shot where I'm on top of the Jeep. Since the light kind of floods the housing.

BUT, a bigger question I have for everyone, 35 watt or 50 watt?

What's the benefit of 50 watt over 35 watt? Is it safe to put on my car? Are any wires gonna melt?
I believe the 50 watt gives you a 15% increase in light out put but at the cost of a bulky ballast. The 35W are slimmer.

My pictures were with a 35W ballast and the headlights re-aimed to point down further to reduce glare.

I don't think you'ld get the same color. The cutoff creates the hit of blue because the tip of the cutoff is so thin that it scatters all other wavelengths of light but blue. Kinda like how the sky is blue in a way.

I'ld get the 6000k still, my HIDs illuminate the area better than the HIDs in my parent's ES330.

You fail on all levels for thinking this.

NO aftermarket HID system puts out more lumens than OEM HIDs. ESPECIALLY 6000K.

lol so you'ld think. It's not what I thought...it's what my dad and I noticed one day. My tC was parked on the street with its lights on at around 10pm. My dad pulls out of the driveway and is practically next to me(a little in front) and we both noticed that my lights reached out further.
