I bought some off of Ebay for 77 dollars and they work great. The only problem is that the wires in the plug that plugs into the factory wiring is backwards so you have to switch the plug on the ballast. Thats what you get for ordering from China but they work great.

I ordered a kit from an e-bay store. The kit was good but then I decided to protect my electrical system and buy the wiring harness from MobileHID.
Ace, as for the retro fit projector I wonder if you couldn't use the headlights off an 08. I have 6000k in my 08 and have minimal to no glare.

08 projectors are not wide but it has a narrow beam distribution. there is a huge rectangular box above the cutoff which looks bad to oncoming traffic.
don't really know what's so great about that but pretty much telling him to spend 300+ on headlights + a 170 hid kit to get mediocre results then what's so helpful about that?
if you own an 08 tc then you can just shove an hid kit in there but if you don't own an 08 then why spend money on something that achieves poor results when you can do 100 times better with the same amount of money or even less.

Just an idea, I don't know how much headlights are going for I've never had to look for them. I was simply giving a suggestion based on the assumption that you could get a 08 headlight for relatively cheap, but if not sorry.
Plus I've seen people with aftermarket headlights where the seals let moisture inside. OEM would bolt right up and you could always modify the cut off.
