Default How in the...

OK, this is my first official post, not too sure of how to do this, so please cut me a break (I'm pretty positive I'll mess up the link posting. Sorry ahead of time, just cut and paste I suppose). I was searching ebay, and found this tC....not sure what the deal is, but I'm wondering how they did what they did. You'll see what I mean when you check it out. Was wondering everyone's thoughts on this. Thanks.

yeah, it's a member down in texas, she turned the butt of her tC into a G35, kinda odd to me, but people liked it.

WOW thats a nice tC!!!! they should take off all of the side vinyl, the auto labs on the back, and get a badgeless grille. what they did is leather interior, cf dash kit, scion steering wheel, fog lights, G35 REAR END!!, tv's in the headrests, nav, dvd player, new pedals/shift ****, and some other stuff

Im actually surprised, I think there was a lot of hard work put into it, and it looks a little decent, and even more surprising is the price is decent too for all that work.

I was thinking that the G35 lights wouldn't look too good, but they dont look half bad:

And I do like the seats:

Well Im glad the aren't selling it for 25K+ lol not too bad of a find.

See, it ain't bad looking, like everybody else said, it looks like a lot of work was done to it, and the price is so low. I would imagine a lot of money was put into it, and unless it was paid off right away, it's hard to imagine money NOT being lost on this. Plus, the bumper looks a bit outta place, cause it was made for a dual exhaust no doubt. Ya know what I'm sayin?!

But still cool to look at. It seems to belong in the same show room as those Mercedes and Lexus' in the foreground, but the price belongs on something in the Scion lot!

why do people climb everest? because it's there, why did they modify this scion, because it was there, it was a challenge, and they pulled it off magnificently. they are probably selling it to start another project car that will be even cooler. maybe they will buy a new xd or xb and convert it into a chevy astro van or something.

Well to use the analogy, people who climb Everest for the challenge will never forget the experience of climbing Everest. But the owner was talking about doing it for herself to have a car no one else would or something or rather and whatnot. She got a lot of flames from both the G35 and tC communities (along with a lot of praise too, no doubt) and I always liked how her attitude was like a bastion of Scion's marketing philosophy, "What moves you."

But oh well, maybe I read wrong and they were building cars for the sake of building cars. That's cool too.

What had to cost the most I would imagine is the trunk/hatch part. The tC is a hatchback, and the G35 has a regular trunk. That must've been a _____ to "retrofit". The graphics are confusing too, cause it looks more like light glaring off the side and back of the car than anything, so it's hard to pick them up.

Hey, maybe she's actually upgrading to a G35, who knows! Someone should find out so we know what made her get rid of the car.
