Default How do i change the license plate lights? it wont budge!

how do i change the license plate lights? i opened up the little door panel from the inside hatch, and i disconnected the little cable from the light plug, but i cant twist and remove the little light socket....it wont budge...any suggestions on how to remove this so i can change the bulb?
ive already done searches on this and none help me...most of the threads are just on people who already did it.

please help. any easier ways to remove the lights? any pics of how to do it would be appreciated.

I put blue LED's in my car. The plastice piece that you disconnect the wire from should just twist out with the existing bulb. I broke one before I figured it out. Just be patient. I also suggest doing it in warm weather.

DO NOT unplug it the wire that runs to plastic piece that holds the LED, it won't hurt i, just get ANY tool, I don't know I used pliers(however the ____ it is spelt) get a slight grip on it and turn it the left, it NEEDS that extra help, but lightly, don't break em, then you can take out the bulb put in the led and make sure it works before twisting it back.

again, just you a tool, it makes it 110% easier.

I belive you turn them counter clockwise.. they are very hard to turn the first time.
I put a cloth over them and used a pair of pliers, but you have to be very careful not to crush them.
