New member, first post...

Let me start off by saying I have a White 05 TC that I have been working on for a few years.

I just installed Red and Clear True LED Tail Lights and they look sharp and function fine with the exception of the night time running lights.

I have read some stuff online but cant seem to find a solid answer on what causes this, whether it is a fuse, or just a feature thats not included for some odd reason.

Please help!

Does this only happen with the aftermarket lights installed? Or does it happen when the stock tails are installed too?

If it happens to both set of tails, then it's probably a fuse. There's a fuse box under the steering wheel. Just replace the fuse that says "Tail".

 

its the converter and and resistor boxes that comes on these tail lights that are the problem. i had to get a trailer 3 wire to 2 wire converter from u-haul (bout $20) and an aftermarket electronic flasher from autozone (bout $20) for the hyperflash to fix the problem.

nice lookin tail lights but poorly wired from the manufacturer.
