^ same situation as alex, dont own it but wish i did. The 3m works fine just make sure you clean the surface realllly well. I know a few people that had issues when it got very hot and they bumped it. If your worried about that, ide bolt it down. The pedi is bolted on.

I would really worry about the tape if you are in a cold climate...

They give you a template you put over the trunk then drill on the X's its really not that bad. Take out the interior paneling first though so you dont get dust all inside the hatch frame.

i used 3m tape. i actually applied the tape over the tape it comes with. for some reason the tape it comes with does not make good contact. putting 3m tape over the original tape helps it make way better contact. it sticks real well. ive had mine on for a month and its really sturdy.

PM Scion_Jon. He's the last person I can remember installing one of these things on his tC.
I would assume that double sided tape would work fine in your situation but then again, do you want to live with the fear of losing it at any point?

well i remember talking to a couple of people about their installs for this spoiler. one guy i talked to said that they did double side tape it down but the summer hear made it weak and the spoiler would kind of lift off and tilt in the back so they bolted it down.
