Default LED light reliabilty

So i want to invest in some bright signal lighting. nothing i've seen is brighter than LED. i want to switch out my signals and corners. i also wanna do the same for my gf's accord. she has DRL's so i wanna upgrade those for her. i see a lot of you guys go to superbright LED's.com for it. i saw operatic started selling them on his 3bspec.com site. i've read mixed reviews about superbright but non about operatics. i have his kick ___ HID kit.

my question is how reliable are these bulbs? should i place an order or just go to my local autozone or checker? i hate ordering stuff online cuz i want instant gratification so if there's not much difference then i'll just buy local. thanks for the input. some personal stories are always helpful.

I dunno about where you live, but around here, Autozone has yet to realize the LED light bulb has been invented...

very very true due to the fact that the headlight housing gets really really hot....especially if you have hids....so the actual led chips desolder themselves ....
on the corners you have to open the housing and solder the leds into place. i bought my 4 leds from oznium.com and have been very happy with them. very very bright!

i've had them in my headlamps for over a year now with no problems.
the oznum ones that akrylic09 mentioned are great too.

Strange, I have found my HID's put out less heat than halogens. HID tend to produce more light due to less energy loss to heat.
