License Plate Light need Help
Guys i have a problem, small but its really bothering me. Im trying to change out my license plate light with the is350 ones. But i can't get the plug off! facing the rear of the car i turn counter clockwise like the manual says. I use alot of force but it won't budge. What am i doing wrong before i break the whole thing off?
Best thing to do is use a set of needle nose pliers or a wrench. I had the same problem when I switched mine out, it wouldn't budge at all. After you get it to come undone it's a lot easier to do by hand later.
This one is a b!tch and a half. Spoilers, you can't remove the whole black assembly (oh i tried) despite the pictures being slightly vague. All you do is twist the back of the bulb, and using a crescent wrench is the only known way to get them to pop out...it's all it takes. Fingertips are too soft to give it enough torque. Unless you just have brute gorilla hands.

I guess I have "brute gorilla hands" because it only takes me 30 secs. to do the swap. Sometimes if you push in a bit while turning to loosen helps in 'unlocking' the bulb (plug).

i have finally experinced the uhm.... difficulty of twisting one.. after doing so many before just using my hands, there was one that finally gave me difficulty.
i will have to assume that it was due to a colder climate and the plastic must've just been less flexible that it gave me a hard time... but i ended up using pliers for that.
so i guess my adivce is do it in warm weather if pliers are not available for use.
after you remove them the first time, it should be easier from then on to twist them out.

man i never get where to post right, i don't even know how to do that crap. but thanks guys, imma try to push it in first then turn, if not ill use a wrench. Please guys, im not weak, i crushed the bulbs socket with my hands and it still didn't come out, but it still works. Maybe not crushed by cracked it.
