good god. are these lights stuck in with glue?? which way did you guys twist to pull them out? or did you just pull. as soon as i clamped my needle nose pliers some of hte plastic cracked. any help would be wonderful. i've been twisting and twisting and pulling and these things won't budge at all. ____in me off.

 

to the left and pull i believe. helps if u have a pair of small hands lol

 

yea they gave me hell too...you gotta turn them counter-clockwise...i had to use both my hands and turned it as hard as i could for them to come out

 

pliers help to get in there. the bulb is annoying to pull out but just have dry hands and you'll be fine. i'll go and check which way to turn, brb.

pull the wire harness out and use a set of small pliers to grab with. Twist left, it pops right out. Very easy...

They're just really, really hard to get out of there. I don't know if the fit is different car to car, but mine felt like they were glued in too.

I broke one of the mounts the first time I took mine out. No big deal, since it's only a couple dollars for the part.

I say save yourself some headache, go order the part ahead of time, and just use a pair of pliers to twist it out.

 

Same problem for me. Try pushing them in a little bit before and while turning. I think that gets those prongs unstuck. Taking out one of those darn bulbs was harder than installing my HID conversion kit.

 

Get your mom's hairdryer, turn it on to the highest setting, shove it up the hole, wait for about 3 minutes, turn it off, get a pair of pliers, twist, then pull. That'll do it...

 

great, now i'm too scared to try and change my own bulbs...
