I hate to be that guy, but I took a look today, and I'm not quite sure.

Can someone give me a detailed explanation of how to put lights on the license plate.

BTW, I did a search, but didn't find anything

process is the same for xa and tc
1. jsut pop open the two tabs on the inside of the trunk
2. twist the bulb socket (takes some effort and patience)
3. replace with led bulb.

 

Twist it left, btw. The first time you do it they're pretty stiff. Every time after that and it's pretty easy.

Nevermind. Fingers got tired so I used vice grips - turned out great. Gotta love LEDs!

 

Wow...I can't even describe how pleased I am with this upgrade! 6K HID's mixed with this makes the car look so so soooo sexy at night! Especially because I have the PA black DARE plate on super white with the windows murdered out. The whole car is pretty much entirely black and white (even the lights now) I love it!
