Default License Plate Lights

Can anyone help me with removing the license plate lights. I have access to them but they do not turn and pop out...

I haven't messed with them, but if they are anything like the dome lights do not twist them. Just pull.

Again, I am not sure on the set up, but try pulling them straight out.

just open the hatch, remove the little panel, twist the housing to get access to the bulb, and pull out the bulb(you may have to wiggle the light out)

You open the little hatches that covers the bulb and you twist the light out counter clockwise. It helps if you use a towel to wrap a pair of pliers and use that to take it out. Don't squeeze hard so you won't harm the plastic.

I broke one of the bulb mounts when I replaced my bulbs. They're very hard to get out.

Just be careful, use a towel, and remember--the mounts are only 4 bucks each.

just use vase grip wrenches...and then grip the back part & turn lefty-loosy....I use the wrench to get the license bulbs & parking bulbs out....

Just remember folks, if its a 194 bulb, don't twist, they just pull straight out.

it's a little hard to turn at first.. so you have to find a way to position your hand to twist it..
