Since I got a ticket for illegally tinted tail lights, I decided to do something about it. My brother actually did all the work, but I had the idea, lol. I think they look pretty cool, and hopefully it takes care of the concern the "cop in a purple Camaro" had.

The cop also checked my windows and his meter showed 28% on the front windows. No ticket, just a warning. Not sure I'll change the tint, at least for now.

thats nice... imma smoke mine out 20%, darkest overlays that they sell. however ill be adding two reflectors to my rear to make them legal..so it all up to you, but i LOVE what you did!!

im sorry if I missed the obvious, but what did u exactly do?

 

My brother used a razorblade and cut out a circular portion of the overlay so the brakelights aren't tinted. The officer said the tint dims the light output.
