No, not yet. I plan on racing the car next year and stop doing shows. I will add the other one later and then make both of them functional for the brakes. I figured i'd do something different for now.

I think its a good look, but is it safe. What happens when you are driving in the rain. Thats going to send water directly to the intake. I think you should keep it, but use it to kool your brakes instead.

I don't drive it in the rain. It's not my daily driver. If i did get caught in the rain, i can move the hose away from the filter. Water probably won't go up the hose because it's not directly feeding into the intake pipe (nothing is sucking the air in). I haven't mounted the hose up top. It stays in place and i can move it out of the way.

spectre performance makes a filter with a connection for that hose, they make all kinds of stuff.

What did you use to connect it to the bumper? Can you take a closer picture? Do you have a pic of just the hole you had to make?

a functional mod

I wouldn't do it to my car but I like it.

I do think that a BLACK hood would tie it all together. Before I even read all the other posts I thought: black rims with silver rivets goes mint and the silver headlight ( looks great) But because especially because the black of the headlights is gone and a black hood would pull the attention of the black other pieces and smooth the silver with black contrast out. I hope I explained that well.

NO!

I really like the headlights.

I could imagine that you wouldn't want to get a different hood.

How about painting the side mirrors black and tint overlays. and well, maybe the lights ... I think I just really like the paint going in the headlight.

The headlights might be a good idea. ANd then tint the orange corner markers.

oh and I know the blue highbeams are nice but that little spot of blue is a little distracting.

But I'm just going over board. The car looks tight as is.
