So I just hooked up my car with an exhaust system. Reason I put this in the exterior section is because the bumper and tip are like basically glued together! Where can I at least find something to prevent my bumper from melting? In the meanwhile I'm trying to see how I can separate them but also keep my exhaust tip at a decent height. Look forward to help or links to threads I didn't find.

 

People have bent the exhaust hanger to allow the exhaust to hang lower.

 

Some have stuck bottle caps in the gap in the hanger to make some room. Which exhaust do you have?

I just put a couple sockets I dont use in the Rubber Hanger to get a little more distance between the muffler and bumper. Been good for about a year so far.
