Official Angel Eyes/Halo Thread: Post YOUR Pics
Special thanks to Clayton1 for the fantastic D.I.Y. guide.
The only additions I did were drill holes into the housing to hide the wires and placed additional waterproof silicon around the light housing to prevent condensation. I also blacked out the orange corners with a few coats of Night-Shade spray paint and clear coat.
All I have are daytime pics so far. Still haven't mastered the art of night time pics yet.

Hmmm... looks nice... going to go this route when I do my next set... This winter going to buy a new pair of HLs and have them painted BSP, along with just cleanly painted the reflector BSP and redo the eyes a bit cleaner...
i just got off the phone with you guys a couple hours ago. you seemed pretty cool i dont remember who i was talkin to... maybe mat? or was it nick? nick maybe... do you remember talkin to a david, about the DDEs being instock or not?
anywyas thanks for clearing it up for me. i might be ordering soon.
and nice music you got for when you put people on hold

well the thing is im iffy about them because of what happened to me last time... if you think about it i would have spend roughly $400 bucks on the DDEs all together... including TWO sets, TWO extra rings, TWO extra power inverters.... is it worth that? also what if the new kit dies on me like the last one.... NOTE all my connections are PERFECT and i SILICONED the power iverters so no water went in (the second time they blew), the ring was broken on delivery, and another one broke while INSIDE the headlight...
but i guess im gonna try them again, cuz ill probly order them monday
wish me luck this time.

i had one of my inverters blow on me when it was siliconed. Try this:
go to home depot and get some of that plasti-dip stuff that you dip the handles of tools in to give it a rubberized coating. I did this to my inverters and as a test I dunked them in a bucket of water.
they work just fine ;)

Hey! I pioneered the plasti-dip technique....
I don't like the glue that umnitza suggested to me both rings stretched the glue and pulled out... I used a normal epoxy that I got at home depot and it held MUCH better...
