same brand? just clear? i almost baught this stuff today, but i was afraid it was the wrong stuff and it was too messy. i shoulda baught it.

i just want clear glue lol. i htink the rings will be in tomorrow :D and i wanna get them done before dark so i can get night pics for you all :D

 

The amount you use... you'd never notice it... it's like 4 little drops at strategic locations... BUT, in that regard, there are clear drying epoxies as well...

by the end caps and then somewhere in the middle

 

ok cool :D i have the heat shrink, plasti-dip, epoxy, heat shrink, soldering tool, now all i need is the DDEs themselves :D i hope they are waiting at my house for me when i get back from classes

i think quick grip and e6000 are similar types of glue, both dry clear, set fast, flexible and safe from heat.... either way im using epoxy, seems to be stronger. you can find e6000 and quick grip in the arts & crafts section at wal-mart

 

oh well, i already baught epoxy, the one WDS recomended

 

Anyone know where the accessory wire is? I'm trying to wire the halos on there, so it would turn on w/ignition.

 

just wire em to the radio or something.

well they are installed :D but just my luck 1 of the rings broke, but Jlevi is taking care of me. now lets all just pray that the plasti-dip keeps the inverters waterproof :-/ w/e ill have to put the other ring in once it gets to me, im tlakin with Jlevi now and they are helpin me out.

well yellow headlights will probly be tomorrow :D and your tellin me about the rings LOL. you dont have to BUY another ring to replace the one that broke i swear they shoulda made the rings a tiny bit more durable... w/e more money for them

all i can say is at least Jlevi is making this a good experiance, they're phone support works well. instead of goin back and forth in email tryin to get a replacement ring i was able to call them and have them take the order over the phone :D thanks guys
