Don't know if there has been an update but I called them today and they said that the third brake light will be out in two to three weeks and is going to be 115 plus 5-10 dollars shipping. Should I get one for me and my bro????

I know they say plug and play, but is it hard to remove the third brake light from the tC hatch?

 

If you're going to get one for your bro, hook me up too then.

Install shouldn't be too hard. All you have to do is remove the plastic pieces surrounding the hatch glass, then its pretty much screws, or hexs, or nuts and bolts. (I can't remember what's in there.) Shouldn't take longer than 20-30 mins. Try searching "TBL". I bet you will find a DIY thread.

 

I've got one, it's totally worth it. It looks tight. It's not hard to install, either. I took a bunch of pics and will be posting up a DIY within the next few days.
