Surely you aren't this foolish. I could say I am a PRO at breathing. And that is bad for your health to breath through your nose, and you should believe me because I say I am a professional on a message forum.
But, I have no proof, documentation, or anything to support my claim that breathing through your nose is bad.
Are you going to believe me?
Even though I said i was a professional on the topic of nose breathing?
And I have provided no proof.
Melissa don't be a sheep. Question what you read on the "internets" Use "the Google" to find things from sites that help you develop your own opinion. But use your discretion on the credibility of these sites. Question those who say they are pros on the "internets." Have them provide prove to support their points.
If no proof is given, then take what they say with a grain of salt.
It's not what they know. It's what they can prove that will hold up to attack.
Isleepwellwithothers and honeybisket very well be the best painters on the earth and you guys may be the best friends in the world and they may know their stuff in and out. But it still stands that until they can prove their claims, it doesn't amount to much.
You are completely correct when you say that there is no proof to what honey0BUCKET and isleepwellwithothers say about anything, but I do happen to know from my own two eyes that honey is a very good painter, so of course, when he is trying to argue his point and he is only being talked down to, I'm going to put in my 2 cents and tell you taht he knows he his stuff and maybe you should listen, and as elmexicano punk says, 'learn from each other' maybe you guys should try...
as for calling honeybucket a Bit*ch thats bullsh*t and I think you should watch your p's and q's with how you disrespect people.

back on to the paint point. I stopped in at toyota today and spoke to my service rep about the paint, he mentioned that it is a problem that scion is looking into. His personal opinion was that they are going to ignore it. I asked about the paint process and differences between lexus and toyota paint. He wasnt sure about that, but he did say that this paint issue is only a problem with scions

Things must be differnet, thats how everyones hair is up here lol... its my natural color on the bottom though!! Sorry for getting so defensive, as for that bull you talked about going into Toyota... I work there and nobody has heard ANYTHING about this issue.. Its all about the way that people take care of their cars, how close they drive to others and how rough with it they are, thats how scratches happen... My door handle was bad on the inside because of my nails, but it buffed out nicely... Just as any other car would... I baby my car and it looks great, no scratches in it at all... with 8- on it, thats pretty good. Stop tryin to bash scions.. if they are so ____ty sell it and get another one!

and for the record i like my scion a lot. Its the perfect daily driver and I havent had one mechanical issue with it. The paint is just frustrating. Every week i wash and wax the car and its always something new. The paint on my weekend track car that i beat on holds up better than the Tc
I too think most of the cars have pretty much the same paint. Paint from the European cars does seem a little different, but probably not enough to prevent chips or anything. Maybe somebody can educate me on this?
The factors that contribute to chips from the car itself is probably the design of the car. For example, the angle which most rock chips hit at. Other than that, it probably has more to do with how close you follow the guy in front of you.
And hey, I happen to think girls driving tCs = hot. So there, tC06Chick, you are hot, don't worry about what others say.

As for the other guy (blue car in pic) Just because you drive your car on the track hard doesnt mean its going to bother your paint like if you were to ride someones ___ or get next to a big truck or semi which spits rocks and debri every where on your daily passanger road.... Think about it.... This world is filthy,so are our streets, which means it gets tossed everywhere, including our cars......
And FYI do not highly doubt sales men to BS you... Thats what they get paid to do....

Wow. Well, I have to say that I don't really knoew much about paint. My Hyundai Tiburon has always had paint problems. Many of my friends have had paint problems. Its one of those things you have to deal with. Just be proactive. I've had parts of my car repainted by the dealer. Yeah, I told them crappy paint. But, when I see a bird doo on my car I don't say " ehh, i'll clean it tomorrow." I clean it up then and there. Have you ever notice how dusty it is outside? It is dusty as hell. The next time you are on the freeway, stick your hand out for some time. Copunt how many little rocks and suck hit your arm. I once had a 1/4 pebble bounce off of my arm, bounce off my dash and hit me in the face. Anywhoo, sh** happens, deal with it.
Also, the tire brite on the tire. when it gets on the body, it could have just baked there for a while and maybe stained the clearcoat. ive seen it happen when i used to work for BMW.

Isleepwillwithother and honeybuckets ... I would like to reiterate that I don't know a thing about painting. And I never said you guys couldn't paint. I only said I wouldn't agree to what you said without proof.
Which you still haven't provided, so all your points are moot.
I just like to argue for the fun of it. Have a good day.
