Default Parking Lights On The Fritz

Hi everyone,

I've been noticing this problem lately that my parking lights, are acting weird. My drivers side spasms constantly......Flickering on and off. They are LED parking lights from custom tC. Does this mean they are about dead?

Best way to tell? Grab some cheap bulbs from Autozone or something and try them...

yup... they r toast!

the thing is that the LED housing actually composed of a handful of small LED's
when one of these LED's stop functioning there is excess current sent to the other ones... thus causing flickering and fading.

hope this helps

the parking assembly is fine its just the LED "housing"... best option is to get new ones http://superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html

get the ones with the white housing... 4th one from top and the one with 6leds on a open circuit board 6th one from top

You need some of THIS. Sometimes the LED base doesn't sit right in the housing. I used this on my flickering LEDs
and that solved my problems.

2+ years and no issues. Worth the $10 for me...
(But I'm not saying you're wrong either.)
