I can and can't believe half of the stuff you people have suggested to this guy. Get a microfiber towel/cloth. Start with the rubbing alcohol or try a little brake part cleaner (non-chlorinated). Then maybe a bug/tar/wax remover. Try it in a small spot first before you ____ something up big time. Maybe even some diluted paint thinner, again start small first. I think 3M makes the product I use to remove road paint from fender liners and running boards (tons of fun let me tell you). If you know a detailer or know of a good detailing shop, go to them with your car and see what they suggest. I wouldn't put a magic eraser on my car unless I wanted to scratch the ____ out of it. Or try something used to remove vandalism from concrete etc. good way to mess something up real quick and have to spend that $7k+. A good detailer could take them out, if he/she knows what they are doing. Good luck. Let us know how it works out.
NO im talking about a sharpie marker...if it was sharpie then draw the over the same exact line and wipe it off....i do that on all my pipe i have to mark at work and any metale cases....So lets see how else to explain it.
Start in a corner to test it....take a sharpie and draw the same exact line as the one on your car directly one top of it. do a small 1" segment or something and as soon as your draw over it . wipe it off with your finger or somehithg. i tried it on a cd and it didnt work but its worth a try... acetone will work but dont rub too hard or let it sit on the paint

So it turns out that a little gasoline actually takes it out. The writing was just beneath the gas cover, friend was filling up, spilled a little, noticed the writing starting to drip. Decided to POUR GASOLINE all over the writing to get rid of it.
Quite possible one of my dumber friends.
Anywho, got most of it out, now we need to re wax (and maybe re-laquer) that area. Thanksfor all of the replys. Appreciate it.

Just for everyones information DO NOT USE A MAGIC ERASER ON YOUR CAR. It takes off whatever your trying to take off but MUCH MORE. I had an experience with this a few years back on my GTI, ____ing ruined my clear coat.
ya watever u try and use on ur car make 100% sure its clearcoat safe first my girlfriends dumbass mom who thinks she knows everything went to use crap on scratches on my car and b4 i could read the back she was already using it and now the clearcoat is cloudy. women.. ive got a thing now that will make it not cloudy but everytime i wash the car i have to reapply it so it gets triring
