^^Just pop off the covers on the hatchback with a flathead screwdriver, twist out the socket(s), replace bulb(s), put back and twist back in. Shouldn't take you longer than 2 minutes, tops.

*Brouse through your manual. You will end up with a lot LESS scratches.

The sockets get slightly melted due to heat from the original bulbs. They are a PITA to get out, pliers ARE necessary.
You'll probably have to bend the socket connectors a little to make them tight on the new bulbs also...if they aren't tight they'll flicker on and off with road vibrations...

BTW, you'll the LED plate lights...

yes... the manual... suprisingly to some is a vast welth of knowledge...

it took me longer to find the page in the manual on the LP lights then it took to do the swap...

I did have to use pliers for to twist the harness out of the socket, and to remove the bulb from the fixture

dont forget to wrap thhe bulb with a cloth so you wont scratch it when you turn it... its a PITA the first time you take it out.. but after that itll come out easier

some people have trouble... some don't..
for people that have trouble... they used needle-nose pliers.
