Default PnP HID Kit

Is there a difference between a PnP Kit such as the DDM slim:
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

and a conversion kit I guess?
http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme-HID...s-p/xt-4kp.htm

I saw it posted somewhere and the price difference is ridiculous... while I've seen people here say the DDM's are reputable and worthy.

I guess the base question is are there multiple types of HID kits?

The Phillips is for a vehicle with HID's standard. Comes with everything. A kit from DDM is a cheap alternative.

DDM or HIDEXTRA or any other plug and play kit. Unless you do a full retrofit to your headlights, you cannot use the link that you provided to the phillips kit.

i have a DDM kit, it works just fine for the price. I also have a Mengmotorsports kit, and they are almost the same. the DDM just looks/feels a bit cheaper (plastic ballest housing vs metal housing). Either way itll work just fine though

Im very happy with my ddm HID's. Whats not to like, its dirt cheap and comes with a lifetime warranty. Ill probably pick up a few more sets for the sc300's fogs and lamps.
