Default Question about smoke tail lights

Hey Everyone

I was wondering, what's more popular, just putting on smoke film for the tail lights or getting replacement light units themselves? Also, what's the best to get if I wanted to go the film route? I know there's a few options out there but I wanted to know what was easiest and most effective, and looked the best in the long run. Thanks.

The only replacement lights are the TYC lights... and if you ask most people... they're not worth it.

You could get overlays (rockblocker, headlight armor, blue_batmobile) or use the spray stuff. There's a writeup here somewhere on using the spray stuff.

You'd have to check with them on that. I've never done any overlays from RockBlocker. My g/f just ordered a bunch from BlueBatmobile and we'll be putting them on as soon as they come in, I'm sure.

Here's his gallery: http://photobucket.com/albums/y42/BlueBatmobile2005

You'll see prices if you click on the individual picture. He's working on a new site, but it's not ready yet apparently...

You have to email him to order: dubbleA@peoplepc.com

We also have a line of smoked taillight film kit. Here is the DIY photo tutorial we did on the install.

Take a look and let us know if you have any questions.

I've done the headlightarmor myself and they're not that hard to install. Considering I've literally had ZERO experience with vinyling....I get compliments all the time
