Default question about smoking tail lights

so im gettin an 06 tc, and its super white, with white rims, and im gona get a white upper and lower johny designz grille, along with the bottem vent inserts.

now i dont wana leave the tails with all that read are uncovered, and i know if i smoke em out black its gona throw off the white on white look...has any one ever done a Whiting out of their tail lights...so that its still transparent at night as to see the brake lights...or are there any after market tail lights with a white casing? ive looked and no such luck yet.

yea man dont do all white, i know everyone does the zebra look but all in all i think theres such a thing as TOOOO much white. just get some black grills, and paint the emblem white or something that'll look cool. blue bat's tail light overlays look real good too.

good luck though man

Well i seen some people paint them the color of their cars and you can still see them. Dont look too good in my opinion. You can try buying tome 08+tails and smoking everything except the reverse...i think that would look good

you could get a pair of the 08 or newer tails and cut them open to paint the housing white... you should be able to score a pair for really cheap since very few peeps like them, or you could try an even trade... check out yellowxhoodie and one of his threads for pics of the tails on his previous tC... try to PM him and he may just send you pics...

best way to white out the tails is to get 08s and cut them open and paint the interior to match the body but leave the lenses correct color..or it will look weird......really.
