how did that even work...we only have 1 actual signal light on each side?

 

The 08+ models have the three circular lights.

 

i've been wanting to do this but with the tbl. set it up for when i brake the lights go from the center out in that sequential order like the mustang signal lights...

 

That would be trippy! So would we need to buy like a time or something or relay?

 

oh he opened up that third lil circle huh...sounds like it would look awkward. the 3rd brake light idea sounds cool though!

Yes you could do that fairly easy to the tbl if you built the circuit to control it. I thought about doing it for the outer, normally unlit, section of the first gen tbl, but wasnt sure there would be enough interest to warrant it. Would need to check legality of having part of the tbl blinking as well.

 

dont some dodges and jeeps have flashing 3rd brake lights oem? wouldnt think it would be an issue

 

Some cars have tbl that flash when under heavy braking, but I am not sure about having part of the tbl function as a turn signal
