Tail Light Switch-out Question.

Hey, I have a 2007 Scion tc.. Nautical Blue and I really like those 2009 scion tc tail lights and i was wondering if i could buy some and put them on my 07 or does it not work like that?

It's just a straight over swap. Plug-N-Play. I have a 2009 rocking 2006 tail lights
