Default tail light turn signal fast blink problem

Just put in some LED tail lights and the blinkers are fast blinking. I've searched and found that the problem is with not enough resistance from the LED's so the car thinks the bulbs are burnt out.

Other threads have recommended a new "flasher unit" from superbrightleds.com however I don't know exactly which one I need to get.

Can someone chime in with a part number or another place to get exactly what I need to solve the fast blink problem?

(I'm not interested in the least in trying to solve it by putting resistors in the wires, or doing any kind of splicing)

Just put your regular bulbs back in. Doing that equals no hyper blinking and other drivers will have better visibility of your blinkers. If you still want resistors, here's the part #; RL-650 Tail Light Load Resistor kit .

Um, the original bulbs ARE in it. However, the turn signal is not a bulb anymore. It's an array of LED's.

Thus the problem. Anyone else?
(And once again, I am NOT interested in resistors)

well i know with bikes we use to put inline resistators and it would help slow the blinkers down, but they usually came with the kit so we never had to play the guessing game

You can buy a new flasher unit andit will be fine, ive replaced all my turn signals with leds and i had the same problem superbrightleds.com has the flasher unit. WARNING HOWEVER!! When you lock or unlock your car, it will not flash anymore!

Ok. You're saying the exact same thing other people have said in other threads, however superbrightleds.com has MANY flasher units.

WHICH flasher unit do I need? How many do I need? Please link to the flasher unit, or have at least a part number or something. Also, do the blinkers still make the clicking sound when flashing inside the car?

CF18-08 Its the flasherfor "newer Toyotas", I can't be 100% sure this will work, since i only replaced my bulbs with their 15 led signal bulbs, I didnt buy a new taillight, but i don't see why it wouldnt work, and use it still clicks when you turn in fact i like the new flashers click better.

If the bulbs are an "array of LED's" then they're not the origional bulbs, now are they?

What we are trying to say, is that if you are going to be using the LED turn signals, you are going to get the hyperflashing (double speed blinking), that is, unless you use a resistor. Since you said that you are not interested in using resistors, the only way to make the turn signal blink normally, to to return to regular halogen bulbs.

PS. All the flasher units are, are a resistor in a fancy housing. Nothing more.

The flasher replaces the oem unit in the fuse box by your left knee in the drivers seat
