Anyone know if the 3157-25 LED bulb would fit for the tail lights?

The bulb size is 7443 for the brake lights and 7440 for the turn signals (front and back). Different size and style, so it wouldn't work.

 

how many leds should the brake lights contain do you think. I found a 24-led 7443 is that going to be bright enough?

 

One of the main things you have to worry about is the diameter of the bulb. I'm not sure what the largest diameter bulb you can fit in the housing, but I tried the 13 LED one, but can't get it in the hole of the housing. Here's the set that I got but couldn't get to fit:
