Taillight Turn Signal Covers
First, I don't know all the correct terminology so I'm gonna describe it as best I can. Second, I did a quick search and came up with nothing. A few months ago I read a post about a guy that put "covers" over the turn signals in his taillights and rewired the taillight so that the reverse light acted as the new turn signal. Is that even legal? If so, how difficult would it be to do that with minimal wiring know-how? And by "covers" I mean like the "eyebrow" covers that people use to cover up the "eyebrows" on the headlights. So the new signal covers would match the color of the car. He had posted a pic of his taillights after doing this, and I thought it looked hella good. Any help wuld be appreciated. Thanks.
I don't see why it would be illegal, as long as it flashes orange or red, you should be ok. Those "covers" can be purchased at www.bluebatmobile.net. So once you do this, where do you put the reverse light?
