i let my buddy have my S2k antenna and i stuck his stock one back on my regular antenna mount. if you pull out your interior panels you will see how the antenna is mounted. all i did was wrap some foam around the antenna so it didnt rattle inside my panel, and instad of mounting it straight up...i turned it to the side and mounted it so the antenna went inbetween the two panels towards my door.
As for covering the hole. I welded a piece of metal where the hole was. Ground it down flat. Put some plastic on it. Sanded it flat. Primer. Sand flat once again. then prep and paint.
Its a really simple mod if you have body work expierence. I think if your looking to have a shop do it, it will cost you anywhere from 1000-2500 depending on how much work you do before you bring it to them. if you take out the interior parts, take off the bumper, it will cost considerably less than making them do it all.

I think everyone who isn't working at a body shop just saw the price to do the shave and started to cry. I think since I don' have a shop to do this, I may just be really happy with the stubby.
