Kudos for making the cover. Although, that tC is a little too tacky for my tastes. My tC has no stickers on it because it is sponsored by...ME! (Although I do have a small "Stussy" sticker on my front windshield, right above the rear view mirror. Hardly even noticable.) Everything I have put on/in my tC has been paid for by me. I don't need no stinkin' stickers on my ride!

Not some car that was sponsored and taken to a shop and thrown togethor without planning and months of contemplating what wheels to throw on it. Any rich person, or corporation can get a car and throw it togethor in 4 weeks and put stickers on it.

How about they put a daily driven to work car on there. Driven to work that gives you a paycheck to modify the car.

I think it is daily driven actually. The guys dad drives it, as it was a gift for his dad. That's what the article said. Upon reading the article, and besides the Turbonetics kit on it, I think this car was modded with an array of products that you accquire from Carsponsorships. That and the big Carsponsorships decal on the front windshield says it all. I know, because I too, applied to Carsponsorships, and I have a selection of the same products.

IE...Blankpunkt (spelling?) speakers, R-blox sound deading, Blankpunkt dvd screen, etc...
Ok so its daily driven. But its still a sponsorship car, not something built out of the money someone earned and put sweat into it.
If those stickers are all over it, its sponsored and payed for. If its not sponsored then the owner is a poser. Eitherway, I would love to see a car on there that was built by a a daily driver, and payed for by him aswell.

Just like SEMA and all. Those cars are nice but dont impress me. Of course Greddy can put a nice looking car togethor. Thats what they do. Those cars are nothing but an advirtisement. How about the 20somthinng old guys who lay in bed wondering if they should put the viniati spoiler on or the pedestal spoiler? Or the people that stare at the computer on hours with two pictures of different style wheels?

Those are the people that read the magazines, why not let them look at each others work?

You are describing me to a "T".

lol, see thats what I like to see.

I am the same way as I described. I write down websites and prices and products and reviews. Then have folders in my favorites and look back and forth and ____ the wife off with shpwing her pics of stuff she doesnt even know what it is. I lay in bed and ponder some dumb stuff about this car.

But its fun. And it defines an enthusiast. Some people on this site with a bottomless wallet, sponsor backing and mom and dads checkbook...is not a car enthusiast.

LOL, i would say that gets it. When ya know you really got it is (wife in my instance) gives you that look when you say, I have to tell you something, and she knows its about the car. Or she asks how much now with out skipping a beat.

I've seen this car in person and it was not what I expected.... I asked him why he didn't hit up ScionNightII in SanFrancisco and he said it was too far of a drive for that car... Not friendly to drive...

The interior is even more "Interesting"... The "Felt" material everywhere is really over the top... and the center "Screen" think and guages is wierd to say the least... but.... He's scored a lot of sponsors..... wow....

Wow with that many sponsors Im shocked the interior isnt done better. That tv screen on the dash is hideous, I think they could have done better then that.

WoW, Way to much and not practical. Can you even see the gauges fromt he driver seat? The one in the back doesnt even look visible.

It just seems like a car like this is done for the pure sake of doing it and not to enjoy. I dont knock all show no go (not saying this car is, just saying in general), but the show should be functional.

Yo Nick06tc, and BlackonBlacktc.....I have it better than you guys. My g/f is a member on here, and she enjoys the car life....heehee... And just because the guy in the Civic with the spinner hub caps is poor'er than me, dosen't make him more of an enthusaist. I'm not rich, but I make more than most 26 yr olds that I know.

Our tC has a CF front end (fenders, lip, and hood), and it gets driven everyday. Funny, I ponder all day too...lol. I'm stuck between getting the flywheel/clutch next, or a new set of tires. I'm trying to figure which one to get next before the turbo goes in.

Turbo will induce a good amount of wheelspin on these stock crappers. And the clutch starts slippin after 230-250whp.

But I agree, this car is by no means functional. Wonder what their insurance bill is like on this thing.

the car is ok but overdone, ive seen it a couple times driving to school, but i see his dad (the focus) almost every friday aternoon on the 10 freeway doing 60 lol. That tc sorta made me hold back on buying the magazine this month because it looked too overplayed and an eye sore with the stickers.

And with me the enthuist thing has gotten to my parents. I come home with a paycheck and the next week half of it is gone on the car. Everytime is put something new its 'what is it this time, and how much" even before i say anything to them. I end up reading pages upon pages of what the best products are then pondering everyday at school, work and home on what to get next. All i tell people is, "Its my money, i worked for it, i got my savings set aside, and whatever is left is my to throw away on watever i want." I also think ive spent too much one the car, but im happy with all my investments.
