Im not entirely sure if this thread won't be moved or locked becuase of the nature of the post.
These tails aren't your own personal ones are they? If so, why the Downforce company thing on the ebay page? Also, being that dark, are they still 50 state legal? That info is not mentioned in the ebay description stuff.

Well they are my tail lights, but downforce is just the name of my personal, small, 2 man operation home business. By this I mean I am not some big company spamming the forums with advertising.
as to the legality, each state has their own laws pertaining to stuff like this and tinted tail lights seem to be in somewhat of a gray area. If a cop was really set out to bust you, he could probably do so, just like he could argue you car is "too loud" or right you up for "exhibition of speed."
I myself have a pair of smoked lights on my car and have been driving around with them for over 3 years. To this day, even after getting pulled over for other things (once for tinted windows) I have never been ticketed for the lights.
Finally about the tint level. It was a very bright day when the pictures were taken so the exposure on the camera was altered by this and makes the lights look a little darker than they are. But since the paint is a clear base, light shines through just fine and they will be perfectly functional. Hope this helps...
