Default Template for tint overlays on lights?

I wanted to smoke out all the lights around my car and wanted to see if someone was willing to share the template used to cut the tint from.

I have a tint person and would rather go through him then someone else, and if I can provide him with the templates, he could cut the tint to the right sizes for me.

I appreciate any help.

DO NOT use tint as overlays. they are made to be on the inside of the car.

use a good quality vinyl or overlay material, and don't worry about a template.... just lay it on there, and then trim off access.. no need to pre cut it at all.

Go to a vinyl shop in the area, someone who does exterior vinyls for cars, and ask them to give you a certain square footage (6 sq/ft should be plenty) of a clear or whatever color vinyl they have that would permit light to pass through it.

I think I'll just PM BAT again and get those overlays. That seems to be the cheapest and safest Thanks for the help fellas.

Window tint isn't going to work. But if you have a tinter that wants to try there is no need for a template, just have them put a large sheet on and see if they can get it to fit and then trim off the excess.

There are a lot of tinting options out there for the DIY'er! Everything from ebay sign vinyl adapted to fit lighting, to thicker impact resistant headlight protection film adapted for taillight apps. It is a good time to be a DIY guy or gal ;)

Good luck in your search for smokes!
