to those of you who installed angel eyes and blacked out the turn signal. what did you use???? and where did you get it? i searched but couldnt find the answer. i do not want overlays!

 

I used VHT Nightshades and clearcost to black out the reflector (not a turn signal) and removed the light bulb to black it out) In order to do that, you have to open up the housing, but since I was doing the DDE's, I did them both at the same time....

so you blacked out both the reflector and the reflector bulb? so you have no light comming through at all? i dont know if id want to go THAT illegal. just tinted the reflector is enough for me :D

 

If you tint the reflector, when the bulb is lit up, it looks a little "Reddish", so I just took the bulb out... You can see the DDE's from the side of the car, so there is light on the front side....

Not DOT legal, but also never had a question/issue with it.
