Tried painting the engine cover and ended up peeling the paint off when I removed the tape. I ended up hand painting the silver with model paint, Its what I had at the time. So my question is should I redo it the same or change the color. I really want the carbon fiber from the dealer, but kinda pricey. and the other one is too plane. So what do you think?

Carbon fiber looks hot on black. If it were a RS1, I would say repaint it. I am looking at doing a paint job similar to that for my car.

thanks for the feedback. I always hated the Toyota symbol on the Scion. Thats one reason I wanted the cf one from the dealer, it has the Scion symbol on it, but 200 is way too much! So I will have to live with the keychain symbol for now.

where did you find it? the cheapest I found was at McGeorge for 175 plus shipping. But I want to get the TRD spings next, so I'll have to buy it next year, it sucks being poor!

 

I kinda like the old way better, the scion badge doesn't seem to fit there, its too small.
