Default VRD fog fitment help!

i have a RS1.0 tC and just recieved my VRD fogs in the mail. the rs1.0 has the oem lip on it. i didnt do enough research to find out that the front lip needs cutting and now im contomplating keeping them or not. does any one know of a good DIY for cutting the front lip for fitment besides the few instructions that come with the kit? and do you take off the lip or the whole bumper to do the cutting?

any explainations would be great

you have to trim the lip where the fogs would go. there used to be a IDy by vrd but the pics are down. some say to trim both the bottom and side of the lip to fit the vrds, but really, you only need to trim a small piece of the side of the lip so the lense of the inner fogs will fit (if that makes any sense, sorry)

wow.. i just cut the lip yesterday.. i should've had a write up... basically, just put the lip on the bumper (with the bumper off) and try to shove the vrd's in.. Then, lightly draw an outline of the fogs with a pencil (or something that you can see easily). take a dremmel, get a drill bit or a round dremmel, and start cutting... make sure you DON'T RUSH IT!!! and take your time!!!

ps. always cut behind the line (maybe .5 of an inch or so) just to be safe.. and trim or shave it later if you need to...
