I've had what sounds like a few gallons of water in my rear bumper area for a few months now, but I can't seem to pin down where it is. Has anyone else experienced or heard of anything like this? Any guesses as to where it is?

I'm going to drill a hole to drain once I find out where it is, but I don't know where to start.

 

Um... like fuel in your gas tank?

 

Yeah dude it's probably your gas that you hear sloshing around. haha

 

wow, you must have amazing hearing to even hear that. cause a few of these would be hard to hide in the bumper area

 

I sometimes here the gas back there, if I come to a stop and shut the car off really quick. And there's no noise at all you can hear it.

 

I hear it even when the tank is full. It's really weird.

 

its the gas, just turn the radio on

 

its either a full or half of a tank sloshing around, or you got a major water leak in your trunk LMAO

 

That's when it's more clearly heard.

 

There is no sound insulation between the gas tank and the cabin, just sheet metal and carpet. I can hear everything that goes on back there.
