Yes, Megan is cheaper than any exhaust system and header out there.. I don't consider that I bad thing. Their products produce even or greater HP then similar products twice the price.

It seems like you're more worried about the name on the product, then the product itself.
Thats how I was, till one day I said screw it, Im getting the full Megan Catback. $300 was a steal. The only problem it had was the rubbing/melting bumper, but people have posted fixes and remedies to the problem. Megan will be fixing the design I hear as well.

the best header to get for performance and quality is the MMW hands down. Draxas and ZPI are both comming out with 4-2-1 headers and thats exactly what will give the best performance. If you are worried about cost get the cheapest thing out there and file a claim when the weld breaks and you need to put your stock header on and send the old one back etc etc etc ....but anyway - quality comes at a cost. I dont know if there could be a better sounding exhaust then draxas made. The performance ...well I dont know because I need to see the dyno results. You really cant tell from just driving a car how much hp is added.

im not going to get into an argument with you. If you feel the megan header / exhaust is worth it, by all means, go with that route, it is your choice as an america citizen to do as you please (to an extent). But please, for the people that are very intrested in this header, stay on the topic of the draxas header.

If the topic strays away from what this post was made for, i will request a mod to delete all post that do NOT concern the draxas header.

Thanks

Someone should just call or email him. He stated in another thread he doesnt check the board that often and to find out anything quickly they should give him a call.

I'm interested in it as well, since i've ordered a draxas exhaust system.

it is in the plans to be a 4-2-1. and as far as i know, stainless steel will be the option. but ceramic would be a very good idea, espically for the SC owners with hear problems messing up the shaft seals

yea - its a must if people are getting headers w/ the s/c because heat is now a known problem w/ a header & s/c combo.

isnt anybody interested in what type of header this is going to be and its price? .... or am I the only one? If I knew what was being built and the dyno results I will deff hold on and I think so would many other people. If you say that a header is going to be made but dont state the price or the exact type .... how/why would people hold their money and wait for something that they have no clue if they are ultimately interested in?

Well i emailed draxas about the header and this is the response I received.

We have not begun the actual physical testing on our header design. We have the preliminary designs complete, now we just need to fabricate the prototypes and begin street and dyno testing. I will speak with our lead fabricator and see what kind of timeframe we have to work with.
