Default 2007 tc K&N intake

K&N sent me an email with the new 2007 tc intake

Over $300 and uses stock air box . . . i think i'll stick with my injen

I believe it's like that to pass CARB, since it keeps the charcoal filter. It was posted the other day too... and yes, very lame.

sry if repost, just don't think it's worth $300 if your using a part or parts you already have, at that point might as well make your own, IMO

Ya, it's definitely not worth the money when there are other intakes out there for the 2007.

However, if someone is looking for an intake that is CARB legal (CA people) and really, really wants one... this is one of the very few options... it might be worth it to them. But I don't think I'd bother if it were me.

No, it's NOT compliant with CARB for the 2007, only 05 & 06. It's clearly stated on this Vehicle Applications page, so there's still no CARB solution for 2007 owners.

This product was recently discussed here, but for some reason I can't locate the thread, it's as though it was deleted or ....?

Oh.. that's right, I remember seeing someone else pointing that out before... but it is practically the same design between the 05-06 CARB one and the 07.

And ya, I tried to find the thread after I replied to this initially and didn't find it. Not sure what happened there.
