Default 2az stripped head bolt repair

Hi all, I’ve got an 06 tc with what seems to be the infamous stripped head bolt issue. I’ve been searching all over trying to figure out the best way to fix it, and it looks like the best option is a time-sert thread insert. I’ve found the kit for it, but I’m curious if you have to get different length and thread head bolts to accommodate, or if the inserts are the same size as the previous threads. Also, I found some information about using extended head bolts without messing with the threads. Apparently there’s a portion of “virgin” threads below how far the original head bolts go, and somebody on ebay is offering extended replacement head bolts. I’ll offer an image reference. Thanks for any help provided

Repair with proper Time-sert to have exact same threading as original.

However, DO NOT use head bolts!! You'll end up stripping other holes. Use ARP studs with red Loctite instead. No more damage ever and much more even clamping pressure that doesn't relax over time. Use ARP Ultra Torque lube when installing. Lube threads on studs, washer goes on dry and lube underside of nut.
